Tony Hudson was born in Birmingham although Cornwall later became his home. He travelled throughout the U.S.A. and enjoyed repeated visits to Africa living in Lesotho in 1979/80.

Africa provided the inspiration for Tony to display all his gentleness and depth of feeling to capture the colour and beauty of this vast and wonderful land.

Tony died in 1989 and is now at peace in a grave of honour in Thaba Bosiu, Lesotho.
