A scarce Shelley "Crayfish" 1.25 pint capacity jelly mould. C.1933. 

White glazed earthenware jelly mould interior shaped in the form of a crayfish.

This jelly mould was introduced in 1933 and discontinued in 1939.

The back stamp is the 1925-1940 green cartouche mark. 

Dimensions: length 170mm (6.75 inches) / width 154mm (6 inches) / height 102mm (4 inches).

Condition: Small 5mm x 2mm flat chip to upper rim exterior (see photo) otherwise in very good clean condition with no other chips, cracks or crazing. The jelly mould has a very good true sound to it when lightly tapped.
