Large antique Naga, Burmese carved teak panel measuring 7foot 3" at its highest , nearly 2 feet at its widest and 5"at its deepest carved from a piece of teak it was brought back to this country by a local serviceman who had been serving with the army in Burma during the second world War, the photographs show Tribal carving of a Tribal warrior with shield and weapon the top of the shield is darker and has a slightly polished finish this was due to the tribesmen touching or rubbing the top of the shield for good luck when going hunting the panel either a wall or possibly a door is heavy, please have a look at all the photographs and see what you think if you have any questions or require further photographs please e mail me, please note that due to the age of the item it does display signs of age, wear and tear there are old worm or termite holes in places I have shown this in the final photographs, it is still in pretty much solid condition due to the teak, it would make a fabulous display feature pretty much unique, collection is welcome from Morpeth Northumberland or should you wish to arrange a courier for delivery
