late 1600s/early 1700s European German? Silver Fluted Swirl Footed Bowl

Presented is a superb antique European silver bowl. This piece dates to the late
1600s or early 1700s, and we believe it is of German origin. The bowl is made in
a handsome classical form, with a fluted swirl design around the sides. The bowl
stands on four feet, and has a cast and applied design of shells and scrolls
around the rim.

There are four hallmarks on the underside of the bowl, which are
unfortunately hard to make out. This piece is nitric acid tested and guaranteed
at least 850 purity silver.

This piece is in great condition, particularly for its age. The bowl has two
old solder repairs visible on the interior, which you can see in the ninth and
tenth photos. Please bear in mind these photos are taken very close up, and the
repairs are much less noticeable in real life. There are no splits, no dents, no
breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no other repairs.

The bowl measures 11 by 8 ¼ by 3 inches, LxWxH.

The bowl weighs 648 grams or 22.9 regular ounces.
