This is nothing short of a museum piece. A true Victorian piece of glass, this is hallmarked to John Meir & Son. They produced pottery and Crystal between 1830 and 1890, centered on the Victorian era. This stunning pedestal fruit bowl stand about 7 inches tall and 9 inches across. A very unusual design for the time, this features a classical element, Greek keys for its main decoration. Completed with etched glass this rings as true as a church bell. It is in near perfect condition, some very slight scratches in the top surface and a small naturally occurring blemish on the top rim. Please have a close look at the photographs and appreciate the extreme high quality of this gorgeous piece.
