Presented is an antique set of 6 Chinese export silver forks made during the mid 19th century. This set was made by Wongshing of Canton between the 1840s and the 1870s. The forks are done in a classic Fiddle Thread pattern and have never been monogrammed. This set includes 5 luncheon or salad forks and 1 dinner or small serving fork.

The back of each fork is marked for Wongshing. Guaranteed to be at least 900 purity silver.

This set is in great condition considering its old age. There is some minor surface wear commesurate with age and use. There is wear/ rounding to the ends of the tines. There are no major damages and no repairs. Some minor tarnish, could use a little polish.
