Presented is a fine set of 10 English Georgian sterling silver place, dessert, or oval soup spoons. Six of these spoons were made by A. B. Savory & Sons in 1833, while the remaining four were made by Charles Eley and date to 1826. Regardless, they are all a perfect match in terms of size, style, and quality, stacking perfectly. The spoons are made in a classic Fiddle, Thread & Shell pattern, fabulously decorated with a shell design on the front and back of the handle as well as the back of the bowl. The spoons are quite well made and handsome, with a nice feeling of weight in the hand.

This set is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no cracks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

Six of the spoons are hallmarked on the stem with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head for the city of London, the date letter S for 1833, King George IV's head duty mark, and the maker's mark for Adey Bellamy Savory, Joseph Savory II & Albert Savory. The other four spoons are hallmarked on the stem with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head for the city of London, the date letter l for 1826, the King George IV's head duty mark, and the maker's mark for Charles Eley.

Each spoon is about 7 1/4 inches long.

The total weight for the set is 668 grams or 23.6 regular ounces.
