Presented is a wonderful vintage Buccellati sterling silver 109 piece flatware
set. This set is made in the elegant Milano pattern, which began production in
1970. This is a classic pattern with an oval beaded design to the tip and a
central ridge down the center of the handle. As an Italian made set, these
utensils are true continental dinner size, and make for a truly impressive table
setting. The set provides service for 11, with extras in most pieces, though you
could easily source an additional dinner and salad fork to make a full set for
12.

This set includes:

• 11 dinner forks—8 1/4 inches.


• 11 salad/luncheon forks—7 1/2 inches.


• 12 dessert forks—6 ¾ inches.


• 12 dessert/fruit knives—8 1/2 inches.

• 12 round bowl soup spoons—6 3/4 inches.


• 12 tablespoons/oval soup spoons—7 1/8 inches.


• 13 teaspoons—6 inches.

This set is in excellent overall condition. A couple of the forks of each
type have minor knife marks to the backs of the tines. A few of the dessert
knives and dinner knives have dings to the handles, but nothing severe or
extremely noticeable. No splits or separations, no monograms, no monogram
removals, no repairs.

Each non-knife piece is stamped Buccellati, sterling, and Italy. The knife
handles are stamped Italy and are tested and guaranteed sterling silver. The
blades are marked “Inox” for stainless steel.

We are including with the set a brand new felt-lined wooden flatware storage
chest. The chest is a free gift and does not factor in to the price or condition
statement of the set, we merely include it as a convenience for the buyer. If
you do not want this storage chest, please let us know and we will not ship it. 

The total weighable silver weight for the set is 4077.5 grams or 143.8
regular ounces. This weight does not include the dessert and dinner knives, due
to their stainless blades.
