For sale - our much-loved Mercedes Sprinter Campervan. We have had this van for 11 years and had amazing adventures around the UK and Europe, but it is now too large for our needs and we are going to downsize. We purchased it as a converted race van and have adapted it over the years to fit our family and make improvements. Notable features include:
In the cab: travelling seats for 3 people, bluetooth radio
In the living space: two further travelling seats perfect for short hops with extra passengers, beds for 3 adults (one supersize double the full width of the van and a single below), toilet and shower cubicle, bench seating with storage below and housing for leisure battery, 3-way fridge, lots of cupboard space with birch ply doors, three-ring hob with integral sink, dining table with two positions, useful storage shelf above the cab with hand made fitting storage boxes (happy to remove these if you don't want to use them), lots of USB sockets throughout for charging phones, tablets etc
In the back: refillable LPG gas tank (top up at garages from the exterior filler cap), water heater for hot running water at sink and shower, two large storage drawers and shelf, further storage space under the beds with room for bikes/bodyboards etc
Other features: underslung water tank, solar panel on the roof which charges the leisure battery, electric hookup (we don't use it as the solar and gas for the fridge allow us to go "off grid"), wind out awning
The most recent MOT was 12/1/24 where the wiper blades, rear brake disks and pads and NSR brake calliper were replaced. You will see from the photos some signs of age eg a couple of rust bubbles under the cab doors and the fabric of the roof lining is scuffed, but it has a new MOT where is has proved to be sound and it has plenty of miles left for your travels. The van has barely been used over the last 18 months, just travelling a short commute to keep it running. We'd love to hear from you if you think this might be the right van for you!
