This is an antique, Pre-Prohibition Ale, Stout, Porter, or Malt Beer bottle, likely dating from the mid to late 1800s. It is an absolutely gorgeous amber brown bottle without side seams.  There is no embossing or other brand marks.  The vintage ale bottle has a blob style lip.  The bottom has a small dimple in the middle, possibly from a pontil iron.   The short form is reminiscent of a Malt Extract or Malt Tonic bottle,  "squatty".  My father, an avid bottle digger, found the vintage beer bottle in the ruins of an old plantation in Virginia over 40 years ago. Its in great shape, free from breaks or cracks.  There are many air bubbles in the glass, some quite large.  The old glass is very thick.  The old liquor bottle is about 9" tall and 2.5" wide.

Please Note: This is an empty bottle sold for collector purposes
