It’s a 1960 a Gibson that has been Pro stripped and Refinished in Piano Black Nitro Laquer. Guitar looks awesome and Plays great with low action. Gibson Vintage Feel and Tone ! Light weight at 8lbs 2oz on my “not legal for sale scale”. When I got the guitar it was in the process of being parted out … I purchased the following original 1960 parts : Husk which had been properly repaired with a spline/dowel at the body joint. It is solid and confirmed a great job when I had it stripped. Headstock logo,3 Pots are dated 1960 one replaced, bumble bee caps, switch, back plastic covers, truss rod cover?, jack plate are original. The case is period 1950s correct but may not be original case and all 4 latches work. The pickups are period correct strong original wind p90s with correct double black leads coming off of the windings. One base plate had been replaced. Covers appear to be period correct as well?? So the following are replacement newer parts: strap buttons, knobs, light weight bridge, screws , Re-finished body, period correct tuners with slight bends on a couple but good working-condition, tuners bushing. This guitar has been played for 64 years and has just been re-done to bring it back to its playing glory and will go another 60 plus years.
