This unique and rare Russian Chess Set is hand-painted and hand-carved wood. I have not found another like it on eBay! It features floral designs on the pieces, and the box. Inside the box is a label, which we have translated and included in the photos. It comes from Luga, a city in Russia. Chess Board #3, in Feb. 1992. Item 1-C-18-2984115.

The board, when open, measures approx. 12" x 12". The Kings measure approx. 2.75" tall.

Complete with all pieces. Box latches securely. Several scuffs and marks on the board and the pieces.  See photos.
