Presented is a handsome set of 12 Scottish sterling silver place spoons, dessert spoons or oval soup spoons. This set displays a King style pattern on the front of each handle. A monogram, BWR, is present on the back of each handle in an old English script. There is a crest of a rampant lion holding a fleur de lis displayed on the front of each piece.

Each spoon is marked with Scottish hallmarks: the thistle mark for sterling silver, the three tower mark for Edinburgh, the duty mark of King George III's head, and the date letter H, representing 1813. There is also a maker's mark on each piece for James McKay.

This set is in great overall condition. There are no breaks and no repairs.
