Late 1800s/Early 1900s Fine Pair German 800 Silver Open Salt Cellars w/Spoons This piece is in excellent overall condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no chips, no dents, no cracks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs. The salts are stamped with the German crescent and crown as well as 800 for the purity. There is also the remnants of what is probably a maker's mark, but unfortunately we can't make out what it is. The spoons have what appears to be a small import mark, likely French. The salts stand about 2 1/2 inches tall and measure about 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Each spoon is about 3 3/8 inches long. The total weight for the set, including the silver plated liners, is 232 grams. The weight of just the silver openwork salts and the spoons, without the plated liners, is 146.7 grams or 5.2 regular ounces. -jm
