Euonymus Japonicus 'Green Rocket' is an evergreen shrub of bushy, columnar, upright habit. It is a medium, moderately fast growing plant perfect for low hedging and boundary creation or for providing a backdrop to brightly coloured plants within borders and containers. A neat, compact variety achieving a height and spread of around 100cm x 60cm in 2-5 years. Planted for its foliage, this shrub displays glossy, small, dark green leaves in all seasons. Can produce green Summer flowers and although inconspicuous, can create a two tone scheme. A great alternative to Box. Suitable for moist but well drained, acidic, alkaline, or neutral soils. This is a hardy plant withstanding cold Winter conditions. Suitable for most of the UK even in a severe Winter except for the most exposed sites. This variety is best positioned in full sun, part shade.
