Euonymus Japonicus 'Green Spire' is an evergreen shrub of bushy, columnar, dense and upright habit. It is a medium sized, moderately fast growing plant perfect for low hedging, creating boundaries and as background for brightly coloured plants in borders and containers. Achieves a height and spread of around 120cm x 60cm in 2-5 years. Planted for its foliage, this Japanese shrub displays small, glossy foliage in all seasons. Green flowers can produce two tone effects in Summer, though these are small and inconspicuous. Suitable for moist but well drained, acidic, alkaline or neutral soils. This is a hardy plant withstanding very cold Winter conditions of -20 to -15 degrees celsius. Suitable for the vast majority of UK locations regardless of how harsh the Winter is. This variety is best positioned in full sun to part shade.
