Purchased from Kieft & Klok as a running and driving genuine UK dormobile in 2016.

Shortly after purchase I recommissioned and MOT,d the vehicle before commencing a comprehensive bare metal restoration.

I have 100,s of photographs that detail the extent and quality of work that has been carried out.

Remove all interior and exterior components, bare metal, carry out fabrication works and repaint underside , engine bay, interior and exterior bodywork.

No expense has been spared restoring this bus including stripping the shell to bare metal, removing all of the running gear and starting from scratch. The bus is a genuine German built, RHD that was supplied new to the UK where it was converted to full Dormobile specification.

The panel work is meticulous, all of the doors open a shut beautifully, the entire was carefully prepared, primed and painted in the VW colours pastel white and velvet green.

Registered 4 August 1972  this is a desirable crossover model with 2 former keepers the last since 1986 who purchased the bus shortly before they emigrated to Europe, keeping it for 30 years.

It has covered just under 70k miles from new, the history includes the original paperwork, birth certificate, service book and Dormobile specific paperwork.

The bus is current part assembled requiring the following works to complete

Refurbish/ replace brake callipers 

Refurbish/ replace carburettor

Refit engine and ancillaries - engine was running fine, compression and leak down tests performed with no issues 

Fit side loading door

Refit original interior or replace with a custom build to your choice 

Refurbish/ replace and fit exterior components 

All items removed are included 

Any inspection welcomed
