This is a professional-level Gibson L6S electric guitar from 1975 (I believe according to the extremely feint serial {#5#16#} number on the back of the headstock). It features a solid body in black colour, with 24 frets making it a 4 octave neck for the uninitiated. This iconic and rare guitar model is in excellent condition and has been well-maintained. It has a an excellent range of tones via the 6 position switch, making it ideal for a wide range of musical styles. The fretboard is in absolutely A1 condition with no fingernail gouges and the frets although quite low are very even with no indentations . There are some wear marks on some edges of the neck and body which are solely from being played and there is the odd tiny dent here and there. This guitar has been in my family for many, many years and although I'd love to have it with me on stage, I dare not risk it being damaged at a gig. This L6S "Gracey Gibson" as named by my cousin will make her new boss one very happy guitar player. It comes complete with original Gibson case although the handle is gone and replaced with a rope substitute which does the job. last thing - pics were taken outdoors and there are some cloud reflections in some of them.
