For offer, a metal presentation piece, in the form of 'Nike' the Greek winged Goddess of Victory.

As this was presented in 1960 I have put the age as circa 1960.

Made from a base metal (Probably spelter), which would have originally been finished in a Gilt tone, and still has quite a lot of its original gilt finish evident though worn, and mounted on a black polished hard base, which has an engraved presentation plaque attached in Brazilian Portuguese.

The plaque reads: "To Sr Griffin, Homenagem Dos Empsegados Da Motores Perkins"
Roughly translates as: "To Mr Griffin, Tribute To Perkins Motors Employees".

'Perkins Motors' built six-cylinder agricultural engines in Latin America with the first engine rolling of the line in 1959 at a factory in 'Sao Paulo', Brazil.

This figurine is in very good condition, though it does appear slightly lop-sided from some angles, with a few very minor flea-bites to the base.

Height: 10 1/8" (26.4cm)
Weight: 2Lbs 3.7oz (1Kg 12g)
