Das Lichtsensormodul TSL2591 verfügt über einen digitalen Lichtsensor mit sehr hoher Reichweite – geeignet für eine Vielzahl von Einsatzszenarien. Im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Fotowiderständen ist der Lichtsensor TSL2591 in der Lage, die Beleuchtungsstärke zu berechnen und kann für den Einsatz in einem Messbereich von 188 μL bis 88.000 konfiguriert werden. Das Modul verfügt sowohl über einen Infrarotsensor als auch über einen Sensor, der das gesamte Spektrum erfasst. Die Dioden können separat angesteuert werden, sodass der IR-Anteil, das gesamte Spektrum oder der sichtbare Teil gemessen werden kann. Die Ansteuerung des Sensors erfolgt über I2C. Da der Sensor bereits über einen integrierten A/D-Wandler verfügt, kann der Sensor beispielsweise auch von Mikrocontrollern verwendet werden, die über keine analogen Eingänge verfügen. Alternativ ein Treiber für den Raspberry Pi. Bitte beachten Sie, dass im Gegensatz zum Vorgänger TSL2561 die 7-Bit-I2C-Adresse (0x29) des Sensors nicht geändert werden kann. Die Platine verfügt über einen Spannungsregler und kann von 3,3 V bis 5,0 V betrieben werden.
