This item in my EBAY store is an ENGLISH SEMI-PORCELAIN FLOW BLUE CHINA "THOMAS HUGHES & SON" LARGE DEEP DOUBLE HANDLED COVERED SOUP TUREEN SERVING BOWL. This English flow blue china tureen is antique china that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom piece of china; This English flow blue semi-porcelain china "THOMAS HUGHES & SON" large deep covered soup tureen serving bowl is in extremely good condition for this era of heirloom china that is in my EBAY store, this large deep covered soup tureen serving bowl that I have here has NO chips, cracks, scratches, and NO china staining, a true family heirloom that did not come from the Wal Mart store, this heirloom is well over one hundred years old and is now going to be a beauty that will turn into a beautiful decorative piece of china that will never be used; I will mention that there is NO crows feet crazing in this large deep covered soup tureen, either on the lid or the bottom of this tureen, I do mention everything, and that there is very light wear to the gold gilt stain around the tip end of the lid, and on the lid finial, also on the top rim of the tureen bottom and also on the two handles, I would say that this gilt stain is still every bit 95% still intact on this covered soup tureen, a beautiful heirloom piece of flow blue china; I've located this flow blue mark and this china pattern in "The Collector's Encyclopedia of FLOW BLUE China", a reference material, a book that was put out by "Mary Frank Gaston"; You surely have looked at the numerous photos of this beautiful heirloom of English flow blue china, how this heirloom has survived all these years is something to think about, the pattern on this oval covered serving soup tureen was surely cherrished by all who have once owned this beautiful heirloom tureen; I may add that this ENGLISH SEMI-PORCELAIN FLOW BLUE CHINA "THOMAS HUGHES & SON" LARGE DEEP DOUBLE HANDLED COVERED SOUP TUREEN SERVING BOWL is an early vintage antique English Semi-Porcelain flow blue china covered soup tureen that has been used and displayed over many years and is still a very beautiful heirloom of English flow blue china a decorative large deep oval china covered soup tureen serving bowl; I have taken numerous (all) photos outside in natural daylight in different backgrounds in numerous angles and positions to show pattern, china condition, flow blue china mark, and size hoping to answer any and all questions but if need be you can E-mail me or you can see me on my NEW web site at terrymackeyantiques.com.
