The vibrant color scheme represents the host country, China. Crafted in China, this vase is a unique piece of memorabilia for those who want to commemorate the 2008 Olympics. 

The Vase stands 9" Tall with a diameter of 5 1/2" and made from Red Clay. The photos do not do this piece justice !!  I just couldn't get the light correct to get the stunning color to show!  The best I can tell is the first glaze was a grey then a dark red and the final looks to be a dark blue.

The designs are raised with the glaze flowing over, though and around creating a beautiful finished ceramic vase. There is a marking on the bottom and a hologram to the left of the front logo. If you look at the photo of the inside you will see what looks to be a crack. It is but it has been glazed over!!

This a rare piece of 2008 Olympic Games memorabilia, I could find nothing like it anywhere on-line!!
