PLEASE SELECT YOUR PREFERRED OS AND INDICATE THIS IN THE CHECKOUT NOTES

1) Lineage OS w/ Play Store Brings the tablet up to date with the most recent Android Open Source Operating System. Minimal Gapps package that has Play Store present. This allows compatibility with some of the applications that may require this present. Note: The Camera does not work.

2) Lineage OS for MicroG This is a privacy focused Open Source Android Mobile Operating System, so no Google Applications are present. Lineage OS operates on the security philosophy: Your data, your rules. With powerful tools such as Privacy Guard. Furthermore OTA (Over the Air) updates are constantly made available with this version of Lineage OS-making it easy to keep the device up to date and secure. Lineage OS is likely the most popular as well as the longest running custom ROM available. Latest available build will be installed.

3) Divest OS This is a privacy focused Open Source Android Mobile Operating System, so no Google Applications are present. "DivestOS is a vastly diverged unofficial soft fork" LineageOS includes the Fdroid store installed by default. This allows the end user to download applications from Fdroid. From the Fdroid store the user can download the Aurora Store which allows anonymous downloads of Play Store Applications. Aurora Store will alert you to privacy risks for each application, so you can choose whether to proceed or not. This Operating system focuses on privacy and security, and advertises "take back (some) control of your device"

4) Ubuntu Touch An alternative to the Android Operating System. It is a free and open-source GNU / Linux based operating system. Note: Camera does not function.

A word of Caution..... know what applications you are downloading, know the security risks associated with the application (then decide if it is worth the risk). Keep in mind, the Fdroid and Aurora Stores screen applications for security, they warn you with potential risks up front. Pay for an application, your identify has been exposed.

There are many security minded applications available so seek them out and use them.

What technology the phone supports is based on its technical specifications (GSM, GSMT, CDMA). Please check with your service provider for compatibility. Some carriers are telling customers their phones are not compatible in order to sell them their phones....don't be fooled, this is not always the case !

The Android Open Source Mobile Operating Systems are designed to retain full functionality of the Stock Operating System without the unnecessary bloatware. The Developers for any Mobile Operating System have control over any bugs, fixes, application compatibility, or when a device will loose support for updates. Third Party applications are available from the FDroid Store and the Aurora Store are your choice as to whether you want to use/download them. However, I recommend you carefully review each application prior to use. Most of your favorite apps will still work on your device; however some do not due to not being updated, etc. Read the fine print before installing any application. Many, but not all applications do function without MicroG (in essence a Google Play Services replacement). Often there are alternatives for a particular application.
