A fine RC model of a Denny Steam Gun Boat 'Grey Goose'

The build quality is superb, everything fits snug and feels so well made, compartments lift off to reveal numerous electrics with batteries. The captain and mate are situated on deck alongside a working compass and other instruments, part of the build work has incorporated a rotating radar above/behind the crew. The hull is a timber frame with a clad finish (possibly fiberglass), the cabins etc are all timber construction with a small amount of plastic and metal. It is without any damage and appears it very good shape, quite heavy including built in ballast weights. The motor is larger than average, this turns smoothly by hand - the model comes complete with a Hi Tec Laser 4 handset.
The wire around the rear flag is an aerial that hooks on to the radar mast pre sailing

All paint work is very good

Measurements are approximate 126cm long and 25cm wide

Buyer is welcome to collect or I will post using with a large parcel service

Thanks to a very Knowledgeable member I can add the following details - The boat is in its 1953 guise as a gas turbine trials ship - Rolls Royce fitted gas turbines to the Goose, which became the worlds first gas turbine powered vessel. Apparently, the boat is still around today serving as a house bout.
