David Bowie began his decades long career a little over SIXTY years ago, in 1963. He has his first hit with the strange and beautiful "Space Oddity" in 1969, FIFTY FIVE years ago, and never looked back! In the early 70s, he took glam rock to the next level with his Ziggy Stardust persona. By the mid 70s he added acting to his list of professions. He also wrote with and produced other artists (such as Iggy Pop). In the 80s, Bowie made early new wave, then bluesy rock and pop, climbing up the charts by selling millions of albums! Bowie stayed active through the late 80s and 90s with side projects like Tin Machine and a song remixed (multiple times) by Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails. They even toured together in '96. He was also a painter, an author, and many other things, as well!

Today we take a look at David Bowie, and Tin Machine, and that song with NIN. With very cool bonuses added! First up is the Tin Machine shaped picture disc. This came out in 1989, THIRTY FIVE years ago, and is the title track of the album (and the name of the band). It's two tracks, and the second song is a live cover of Bob Dylan's iconic "Maggie's Farm"! The shaped picture disc is a band pic on the A side, (a variation of the album cover), and the the song "Tin Machine". The B side is the live Dylan remake, with song titles and credits. This comes with an album sized backing card that's in pretty good shape! The vinyl itself looks awesome, and is shiny and clean. (I can't vouch for the sound quality, as I never play specialty vinyl such as pic discs or colored records.) A very cool Bowie and Tin Machine collectible!

Next up, we have a BLUE vinyl 7" single for the song...you guessed it..."Blue Jean"! It's the 45 RPM version, on blue vinyl, and in a sweet picture sleeve. From the FORTY year old album 'Tonight'. That album was the follow up to the over TEN MILLION copies sold worldwide smash hit 'Let's Dance'. Sadly, even though 'Tonight' is really good, it barley sold over 1.5 million copies worldwide. But "Blue Jean" and "Loving the Alien" are great songs! And "Blue Jean" on blue vinyl is a very cool Bowie collectible!

Next up is the aforementioned Bowie and NIne Inch Nails collaboration, titled "I'm Afraid of Americans". This is the SIX mix maxi-single, with a mix featuring Ice Cube, and a track remixed by Photek. The other four are all done by Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails! The disc itself looks really good, with only a couple of very light surface marks on it. Nothing bad at all, or that will affect play. Case looks new.

And last in this amazing bundle of Bowie goodness, you'll receive a CD titled 'Club Bowie: Rare and Unreleased 12" Mixes', and it's fantastic! With several of his hits remixed, this is actually really good and the remixes are pretty wild. It's even enhanced, so pop this in your computer and check out the video that's added! This disc looks new, and is shiny and clean. Case looks new, as well.

Take home some collectible David Bowie and Tin Machine music today. Bowie could do it all, but what he really excelled at was making music. He'll always be remembered, and he was one of the most influential musical artists of our time. (RIP Bowie. You created Ziggy, Aladdin, and the Thin White Duke, among many others. To your family, you were simply David Robert Jones. You leave behind an unbelievable legacy of great music that will never be forgotten. You are missed!)
