SIXTY years ago, America was first introduced to the British sensation known as The Beatles. A 'boy band' of the mid 60s who literally changed the world with their music. They grew up, tried drugs, and made some of the most amazing music of our time! In the beginning, there were three albums. The VERY FIRST Beatles' record is titled 'Introducing...The Beatles', on the small Vee-Jay Records label, out of Chicago. TEN days later, major label Capitol Records released 'Meet The Beatles', and the rest is history! Those two first albums kicked off Beatle mania in North America.

The third Beatles album , incorrectly titled 'The Beatles' Second Album' was also released in 1964. On the Capitol Records label (so the second album, on Capitol). In both mono, then 'full dimensional' high fidelity stereo! It was such a treat for fans to have their favorite band's music in stereo, and not just mono. Simply put: mono is ALL of the music, coming out of one (or two) speakers, at the same time. Stereo music is separated, in the left channel and in the right channel. Music was starting to sound amazing!

In 1986, Capitol re-released this landmark Beatles' album. It's the same artwork, with a 'gold record' stamp on the cover (that wasn't originally there). This is the stereo version, as well. And in really, really good condition. The vinyl looks shiny and clean, and the jacket looks almost new! A great Beatles vinyl record collectible to own...

And you KNOW I'll add bonuses! First up is an apple shaped interview picture disc. I didn't know much about this, like the year it was released, or exactly who's on it. Maybe the whole band, of possibly just a couple of Beatles. I never play picture discs, so I'm not sure of the sound quality or the contents. I don't even remember where or when I bought this! Lol But it IS a very cool piece to own, and it's definitely the Beatles' apple logo, and writing on it that says 'interview with the Beatles at Abbey Road' (the iconic recording studio), and 'made in England'. Vinyl looks good, with a few light surface marks on it, mainly on the A side (the open apple side). This comes in a generic white die-cut sleeve.

Lastly, I'll add TWO digital bonuses! First up is a Beatles tribute album, on CD, and featuring numerous artists! There's folk singer Judy Collins, hard rock legend Glenn Hughes, 80s synth-pop star Howard Jones, Jack Bruce from Cream, southern rockers Molly Hatchet, Heart's Ann Wilson, Richard Page (singer from Mr. Mister) with awesome guitarist Steve Morse, and more! And this thing is STILL SEALED and NEVER OPENED or PLAYED!

And we'll end with another Beatles interview collectible. This time it's a CD, with very cool holographic accents, and the faces of a young John, Paul, George, and Ringo (one on one side, and the other three on the other side). And this one is also STILL SEALED and NEVER OPENED or PLAYED!

There will never be another Beatles. They may be other bands that might come close, but maybe we haven't found them yet? The Beatles made timeless classics, by making pop, soft rock, hard rock, blues, and TONS of psychedelic rock. And the songwriting was legendary! Each member brought something to the table. And music by The Beatles still sounds fresh and exciting, just like it did FIFTY or SIXTY years ago...Snatch up these very cool collectibles, and show your love for the music and legacy of The Beatles!

(RIP John and George. You were both amazing musicians that helped create some of the most inspirational and influential music ever made. When I'm down, I play Beatles' songs, and the music lifts me back up again. I'm sure I'm not alone. Thanks for the songs that you've left us, both Beatles' music, as well as solo material. You are both truly missed!)
