Eduardo Vigil y Robles  was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, on February 10, 1875 and died in Mexico City, on December 15, 1945. He was a singer (tenor), conductor, arranger and composer. He was very famous as the author of musical theater, songs and parlor pieces. At the time of the heyday of the musical magazine and zarzuela he wrote several works of that genre. His song La norteña de mis amores made him famous and was performed by singers such as Pilar Arcos y Ubeda (1922) and Juan Pulido y Moriche (1923). In 1924 he traveled to the United States hired by RCA Victor to direct the company's catalog and production of Latin American singers. He immediately reorganized the International Orchestra with which he accompanied the singers Pilar Arcos, Juan Arvizu, José Mojica, Juan Pulido and Luis Zamudio, and arranged for conductors George Olsen, Leo Raisman, Ray Shields and Nathaniel Shilkret, among others. In 1929 he made the first recording of the Ann Harding waltz by Carlos Espinoza de los Monteros, and in 1931 he joined the inaugural cast of the XEW radio station. Another of his songs, famous in a recording made with the voice of María Conesa, was Pompas ricas.

A Quick NOTE ON GRADING AND SHIPPING:

As you can see from my feedback, I try hard to earn your POSITIVE FEEDBACK and FIVE STAR RATINGS.

If for any reason your transaction was NOT SATISFACTORY, pls contact me and I will work something out with you. YOU WILL NEVER HAVE A REASON TO GIVE ME A NEGATIVE RATING or a LOW STAR RATING.

Quick note on grading:

The Grade (Excellent to Poor, I don't give Mint) refers to the WEAR of the record. Any other defects are stated separately

When I listen to a record, I may also give it an aural grade (again E to P), and make a SUBJECTIVE judgment of the pressing quality for hiss and surface noise.
"EXCEPTIONALLY QUIET" is close to noiseless, like a vinyl pressing.
"VERY QUIET" is an above average quiet record for a given pressing.
"Quiet" is a record that is a great example with some noise.

These judgments are SUBJECTIVE and will depend one the styli, phonograph etc. you use on your own equipment.
