This elegant Gorham Strasbourg sterling silver flatware set comes in a sturdy case and contains 89 pieces.  Made between 1900-1940, this set is a true antique that has stood the test of time. Each piece in the set is crafted from high-quality sterling silver (.925) except for the knife blades (the handles are sterling silver).

Please note that six of the larger dinner forks are missing.  The monogram is an Old English "E":  perhaps this set would be perfect for someone with a prominent "E" in their name.  The six demitasse spoons have their own felt carrying envelope that rolls up and fits into the larger case, as does the ladle.

The total weight of the solid sterling pieces is 3,081 grams, not including the knives.

I washed the set with Dawn Gentle Clean and then polished each piece individually with Hagerty Silversmiths' polish.  The case is kept closed, and they're not touched: they could be gifted and/or used as they'll arrive to you.  If you have any questions, please send me a message.
