This Victorian bustle fastens in front with a metal buckle, and has a stamp inside that reads: Taylor's Folding Misses Bustle, Patented though some of the lettering is faded. There are also some pencil marks on the inside of the webbed belt.
There is some rust on the buckle and on the horizontal tapes, the tapes seem to be covering flat metal inserts.
The wire has a break, on the left side in the pictures, which I have shown temporarily taped together, and also as it came.
I will ship it without the tape.
The wires don't have any rust, however, and the cloth tapes are also in very good condition, with no holes or wear, but some scattered rust spots.
Judging from the condition of the webbed waistband, this bustle was used very little, if ever.
