FRAMED w/glass Signed Albert Edel etching of "Mrs. Savage"

Edel was a French/American artist who moved to Provincetown, MA with his wife Stella and lived in P-Town for 30 years. He opened Edel Gallery. He was known for his watercolor and oil paintings, but created at least 60 "intimate" impressionism type etchings while living in Provincetown.

The etching is signed in the plate and in pencil.

Presumably the name of the etching is "Mrs. Savage" because that is written in pencil. The plate measures 3 1/2 inches wide and 4 3/4 inches in length. The frame is 9 x 11 1/2.

I am not an art person at all but if you like Provincetown Massachusetts history this is a piece of art for you. ALSO - The abbreviation for Massachusetts used to be MS from 1861 to 1963 when it changed to MA. That's kind of cool random info.

Ask questions - again, I am NOT an art person. This etching kind of reminds me of the drawing "Jack" showed "Rose" from the movie Titanic (serious Titanic fans will know what I am talking about)
