welcome to the sale of my Chevrolet Corvette C7 6.2L V8 engine. I bought this engine some years ago as working and useable and I had it stored until recently when I wanted to install it into my porsche. My mechanic wisely said he'd take the sump off and have a look inside before we started. Sadly this is what he found, it appears there was alot of end float, which caused the crankshaft to rub against the block releasing aluminium particles into the oil which then, I assume, caused the engine to run very badly. The engine turned by hand and had compression when I bought it, but It had spun some rod and also some main bearings.
