Aboriginal Art Painting by Pauline Nampijinpa Singleton. 46 x 30 cm Date: Unknown Appears to be an older one of Pauline's works. The canvas has lots of details on it wrote by the artist: Pauline Nampijinpa Singleton - Warlukurlangu Artists - 46 x 30 cm - 991 / 04 Pauline has created many works using acrylic paint on linen.  This piece looks like it was painted using acrylics but I am not sure if it is on linen or canvas, although the fabric feels more supple than canvas.

The Artist: Pauline Nampijinpa Singleton
Pauline Nampijinpa Singleton was born in Alice Springs hospital and grew up in Yuendumu an Aboriginal settlement located 290 kms north west of Alice Springs in the NT of Australia. … After finishing school she moved back to Yuendumu and has been painting with the Warlukurlangu Artists since 1999.

About the painting: The artis Pauline Nampijinpa Singleton is a well-known artist. This painting was just too beautiful to pass by when I saw it at an estate sale. Bold vibrant colors, red, gray, gold yellow, white and black.  Lots of double arrows and oval egg shapes. Dotted patterns all over. It appears that the canvas was once stretched onto bars, and then taken off. There are some creases and this lovely treasure has aged well. Maybe 20+ years old? I feel blessed that this sweet canvas has traveled from Australia to Canada... and where will it go next? Thank you for looking, I have many art treasures for sale on eBay and adding more and more paintings every week.
