Rare ANTIQUE (19th C or could be early 1900s as well- we are not absolutely certain of time frame) WOODEN Carved One Piece ROLLING PIN Handle - which appears to have phallic shaped ends or unique carved ends.  We have collected Rolling Pins whenever we find a unique or special one and this one fits the bill.  This rolling pin was just discovered over a week ago in a local Antique Show.  It is a very unique example and we have never seen another with shaped ends like this one.   I will be listing more of rolling pins as I have collected a few over the years. As I was doing some research on this one I found an article which stated in Victorian Times there was thought that rolling pins and fireplace pokers would be banned due to some of these items having phallic shaped handles or finials.  I was amazed at that and thought I would add to this description.

It measures approximately 13" long and the diameter of the pin is approx 2.25".  It would make a wonderful Gift or would be great for your Primitives, Rolling Pin or Accessories Collection.
