For sale is a really nice porcelain saucer made by Royal Vienna in about 1796 . It is hand painted with deep cobalt blue ground color with some amazing gold trim to the rim in the form of grape vines with hanging baskets and a central white leaf garland that is either done in Limoges enamel or pate sur pate with gold highlights - hard to tell but more likely Limoges enamel. One of the nicest saucers I have seen in a while. The piece is in great condition with a small chip to mostly the outside edge - shown from two views! The dish is 5.25 inches in diameter and just over 1 inch tall. It is marked with the under glaze blue shield mark as well as an impressed 96 as the date code, an impressed 32 and a blue number 28.
