This antique mantle clock is a true gem from 1885. Its unique design and functionality make it a must-have for any collector or lover of antique pieces. Crafted with wood and brass, this clock stands at a height of 13 inches and has a width of 15 inches, weighing 11 pounds.

It features a pendulum, gong, an 8-day mechanism, and a half-hour chime sequence. This mechanical clock was made by the Metropolitan Manufacturing Company in the United States in New York in 1885. The clock's finish is black, and its wood frame is oak and pine. This original piece is a great addition to any collection.

The hour hand is missing, as is the glass face cover.

There is also no key included, but I did test this with another key and the clock runs very smoothly and chimes nicely. Overall a wonderful clock for being 139 years old!!
