Early 1900s RYDER & PROTHEROE DRUGGISTS Conical DOSE GLASS - EMPORIA, KS Kansas

Here is a very heavy conical dose glass from the RYDER & PROTHEROE DRUGGISTS and embossed as such on the base - this drugstore was located in Emporia, Kansas at 511 Commercial from 1896 until 1900, so pretty short lived.

Also embossed with TABLE TEA along with the appropriate gradient markings.

This druggist is listed and described on page 51 in the Great Kansas bottle bible/book compiled by the late Johnnie Fletcher, there is a bottle shown as item number 195 from this drugstore but no mention of a dose glass.

Measures about 3 inches tall, conical shape, 2 inches across the base, 2-1/4 across the tapered mouth.

Color is clear glass with maybe a faint pinkish or lavender tint from sun exposure.

Condition is basically damage free, nothing to mention, no chips, cracks or even tiny fleabites, very clean inside and out.

Would be a great addition to your historic Emporia, Kansas or drugstore dose glass collection.

Please see all photos provided as they are the best overall indication on condition.

Thanks for looking.
