Range Rover 3.9 V8 Vogue SE ‘Soft Dash’ 1994 Automatic - Running Petrol & LPG

Range Rover 3.9 V8 Vogue SE ‘Soft Dash’ 1994 Automatic (1995 model – one of the last) – Grey with grey leather interior. Runs on petrol and LPG and has a current M.O.T.

I’ve owned the vehicle since March 2020 and it was purchased as a non-runner having being stood for some considerable time. I managed to get it running and I’ve spent the last 4 years playing with it and doing odds & sods. In that time it’s had various items including a new viscous fan coupling, water pump and radiator, it’s also had a new dizzy cap, plug leads, ignition coil and electronic ignition fitted plus a new air flow meter. It’s had a new rear exhaust box for the recent MOT and the old dicky starter motor has been replaced with a new one on 19/03/2024.

It has an original Land Rover Jack Kit complete with bottle jack, two stage handle, wheel brace and chocks.

*The dash-cam and fire extinguisher shown in the pictures are excluded from the sale.

It comes with an MOT (pass with defects, you’ll see details on the MOT photo) until November 2024 and I’ve compiled a list of everything I could think of and given marks out of 10 however, there’s always someone who will say “what about  …x… “, I’ve tried to be as honest as possible.

It has ‘gas’ fitted (tank in the boot) and runs okay on it, **changing from petrol to gas is not a problem however, it hates going from gas to petrol and mis-fires badly, you have to stop, turn her off and wait a couple of minutes before starting on petrol again. As long as you’re aware there’s a problem it’s just a minor inconvenience. This is only a recent occurrence and I’ll let someone else find out why.

There is a V8 Range Rover classic, 14CUX ECU USB diagnostic lead (Rover-Gauge – ‘Hot Wire’) and CD with vehicle as well as a workshop manual for the 1994 model, there are slight changes to this 1995 model and so I would advise downloading the ‘Range Rover Electrical troubleshooting manual 1995 model’ and the ‘Range Rover Classic workshop manual 1995 model’. Not that I’m expecting you to have many problems but, at the end of the day, it’s just a Land Rover in disguise!

Please come and have a look, what you see is what you get*, I’m in Uttoxeter (ST14) which is on the A50 mid-way between the M1 and the M6. If you decide to purchase from the description without viewing don’t waste either of our times by trying to bid lower than the agreed price on collection, you’ll leave empty handed and Ebay notified. Payment and collection is to be withing 24 hours of listing ending (or sooner if vehicle seen and price agreed).

Cash on collection! £5,500.00 O.N.O. No other form of buying will be considered!

Any questions, please feel free to ask.

I’ve now purchased another ‘classic car’, a 1956 MGA, and need the money to get it right.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.
