From a Blackhawk Films sales catalog: “In 1922 Fritz Lang began the most expensive and lavish production that German film makers ever attempted. The result was a film in two parts, SIEGFRIED and KREIMHILDE’S REVENGE. In part one, Brunhild’s betrayal of Siegfried leads to his murder, but not before Siegfried battles on impressive dragon.”

While the film was originally silent, per Blackhawk catalogs, they produced and released Super 8mm prints with music.

This Super 8mm B&W magnetic sound print from Blackhawk Films comes mounted on one metal 2000’ “Extend-A-Reel.” An Extend-A-Reel is a large capacity 8mm reel with a 16mm type reel hub. Stored for years in a climate-controlled environment.
