MATERIALS: Fenton sapphire blue Poppy Embossed lamp stand, square marble base, brass accents, clear glass hurricane, and 1940s-50s white milk glass lobed shade
SIZE: 18" tall without 2" of hurricane glass chimney protruding (included with purchase but not pictured --forgot it!).
AGE: Vintage Early to mid-20th century, 1960s (pre-1971 when they started embossing FENTON on the bottoms).
CONDITION: Collector Cherished, no cracks, chips, breakage, barely a scratch! Brass/Metal shows some tarnished, marble is good -- but felt bottom peeled away during washing. The cord needs to be updated but works. The milk glass shade is in excellent condition too, but I am not sure it is original to the lamp. VINTAGE USED: Amazing LOOK & FEEL!! All bits are Quite good for age!! I tried to reflect its good condition in the photos and video. No major damage (NO breaks, cracks, missing parts), a few small time-related very fine, barely able to see dimples, hazy clear spots, barely there scritches/scrapes, but nothing that deters from its timeless elegance and beauty. (all vintage and antique items are selected for their above-average condition for their age).

HISTORY OF FENTON ART GLASS SINCE 1905 Fenton Art Glass has been in business for over 100 years. During that time, it created decorative and functional glassware pieces using only traditional methods. In its era, it was the largest United States-based manufacturer of colorful glass collectibles. Fenton Art Glass’ claim to fame was its stunning glass colors. In particular, glass chemist Jacob Rosenthal developed the rich-looking chocolate glass and golden agate glass hues. Amethyst, aqua, ruby red, and topaz Fenton glassware also drew collectors’ attention over the years. In addition to its blown and pressed glassware, Fenton added unique decorative elements to its glass. In fact, many glass collectibles display intricate hand-painted motifs.
