This lot of 18 newsletters range from 1970 to 1972, and all are in excellent condition.   The newsletters are for the Islip Speedway, which was located on Long Island, New York.  Numerous pictures were taken to assist with the condition and content of the newsletters.

Islip Speedway was opened in 1947 and closed in 1984.  The track was .2 miles and was the smallest track to host the NASCAR Grand National Series from 1964-1971.  The track ran modifieds and was well known for their Figure 8 Racing and Demolition Derbies.
