This is a Seiko Mini Turtle reference SBDY083 which was manufactured in late 2023, the final year for this model. The serial number says that it is the 69th example produced in September of 2023. It was only meant for the Japanese market but many have imported it to the United States.

I purchased and imported it in brand new condition in late February 2024 and have had it in rotation since. I most notably wore it to Cuba for a week. The watch has been meticulously maintained and cleaned throughout its brief ownership. With that said, very very small scratches can be found throughout the watch, mainly the bracelet.

The dial and bezel have this interesting color to them that somewhat changes depending on the lighting situation. In low light it is green and in high light it is blue. Anything in between comes off as teal. The Lume on this thing is incredible and even beats out several Swiss watches. It can last through the whole night when properly charged. The 70s cushion case design is what really sets this timepiece apart. The watch looks and wears much smaller than what the specs imply due to the way the case is shaped. Refer to picture #3.
