Hagstrom Corvette / Electric Guitar w/ SC made in 1960s Sweden

Description

Condition: Used

Hagstrom Corvette.
Made in Sweden in the 1960s, it is a cool model with a unique look that seems to be inspired by a sports car, as the name suggests.
Although it is a so-called Bizarre guitar, it is made of solid materials and has a high quality finish, making it a masterpiece that has been carefully designed and manufactured down to the smallest details.

The body and neck are made of mahogany and feature a smooth set neck joint, ensuring smooth playability even in high positions.
The pickup is equipped with three original low-power single coils, and has a nice dry sound.
The controls include ON/OFF for each PU as well as 3 types of tone switches, allowing for a wide range of settings.
In addition to the characteristic lever-type master volume, it also has an ACC switch and ACC VOLUME, which are equivalent to rhythm switches, allowing you to preset the volume during rhythm.
The tailpiece is equipped with a delicate European tremolo unit, allowing you to perform dangerous yet delicious arming plays.

The neck is completely straight and the truss rod is in good working order.
The frets are originally low, but about 80% of them remain, making it easy to play for an instrument of this type.

There are some scratches and age-related changes on the exterior, but no deep damage.

A general-purpose soft case is included.

We will replace the strings and adjust them to make them easier to play.
