Please note I am not a civil war expert at all, so all this information is just my opinion, you'll have to be the judge at this fantastic collectors item for yourself.  this is a civil war three-piece set, I believe it's a button , a round ball ,and a bullet . I put a magnet to all three items and it did not stick , so I believe all these items are brass, or some other kind of material. Please also note I believe these were dug up and found somewhere in the Maryland area, or the East Coast, now there's no paperwork to verify this, but it is a super cool collectors item , and I did absolutely nothing to it, I did not try to clean it up in any way, I just took pictures of it , all of the dust, dirt, and scratches, are still there.  I found it just like this , in the case which is super cool. Some are about an inch or a quarter inch long , give or take a little bit , but it's a very cool three piece set  , and I hope it goes to a fantastic collector.
