A rare good quality image of Sir John Aird, Engineer and MP.

John Airds first significant scheme was the dismantling, transportation and re-erection of the Crystal Palace buildings from the 1851 Great Exhibition from central London's Hyde Park to Sydenham in south London.

The slide is approximately 8.2cm X 8.2cm or in inches 3.23" X 3.23"
