The Antique Garden Sundial, measuring approximately 15cm (6 inches) in diameter at its base, displays Roman numerals indicating hours from 3 to 12 in the morning and 1 to 8 in the afternoon. Crafted from durable metal, it exhibits signs of aging and use, including marks and tarnishing, intentionally preserved to enhance its antique charm. The sundial functions as a timekeeping device, utilising the sun's position to indicate the time of day. Its design includes a stylised sun with a face positioned at the bottom of the gnomon.
