COMPLETE WORKING CAR.  I yr MOT AND V5

American import car. Converted in my workshop to RHD.

This not a failed restoration, but a reasoned decision to go this far, based on the quality of the car and time /space needed.
I found, when it was in the workshop, that the chassis is completely sound. No repairs done or needed. The body and panels are all sound. Only one very small repair was needed  to one rear wing bottom  edge.
The doors all fit nicely and close properly.
The car was so good, that I was not prepared to take the body off and risk the problems later of putting them back together again.(As I have found to my cost on earlier cars.)
I dont think the car body has had any repairs done.

The original engine pulls strongly with good compression. Good gearbox and clutch.

All new
  Suspension bushes front and rear.
  Brakes. Shoes and cylinders.
  Handbrake cable.
  Exhaust.
  Track rod ends.
  Fuel tank
  Recon brake/clutch master cylinder.
  Carbs, pump and pipes overhauled.

Rostyle wheels came with the car.

The paintwork was tatty and flaked in places. Black originally under white.
 Fernox treated and undercoated, only
 Underside oil sprayed.
Boot and engine bay still black

MOT carried out at a classic car specialist. All that was needed was to install windscreen washers, and tighted up a couple of nuts on the steering column.
All dashboard gauges and lights work, including water and fuel gauges!

Work needed to complete.

 Interior trim and seats.
 Paint the car.
Personally I would paint the car complete, loosening off the wings. Would make a good quality vehicle.
Ideal for concourse if you want to go that far.

This car can  has been used by me for a while now and can be driven home.
