The program is in excellent condition with no significant flaws beyond light wear.  There are no tears, and there are no cutouts.  Pictures were taken of every page to assist with the condition and content of the program.

The second race of the 1951 NASCAR Grand National season was held at the 3/4 mile Charlotte Speedway on April 1st.  A crowd of 10,000 would see the 39-car field tackle the dirt track for 150 laps.

The pole sitter, Fonty Flock, would lead the first 46 laps until being passed by Curtis Turner.  Turner would lead the rest of the way and hold off a fast closing Lee Petty by just one second at the finish.  This would be the first win for a Nash in Grand National competition.  Finishing third was Marshall Teague, followed by Herb Thomas and Frank Luplow.
