Estate sale find, vintage original American Zinc Mining Company Plant Snapshot Photos (2) Taylor Springs, Montgomery County, Illinois 1930s.

American Zinc, Lead, and Smelting Company established a metals plant in 1912 and conducted zinc smelting, refining and sulfuric acid production operations from 1912 to 1930. 

Operations at the site included mining and storage of coal, primary slab zinc production, sulfuric acid production, secondary slab zinc production, American Process zinc oxide production, and French Process zinc oxide production.

The items measure approximately 2.75" X 4.5", approximate shipping weight 2 ounces.
