For nearly 30 years, he provided a musical season of 3 to 6 concerts per year thanks to the kindness of the famous director of the theater Marcelle Tassencourt.His concerts are very popular, and in the western suburbs, cultural centers regularly call on the OCV.Each year, several concerts are given at thePalace of Versailles.The reviews are unanimously very laudatory[2]. As early as 1958, the orchestra performed almost everywhere in France and in Europe[3].Abroad, the French musical works of the School of Versailles are highly appreciated.During a concert given inAmsterdamin 1959 at theConcertgebouw, the press and enthusiastic critics pushed the activity of the Versailles Chamber Orchestra towards an even more international career.Thus in 1971, a long journey of two months and 60,000 km, leads this group fromBerlintoMexicoviaChile,Paraguay,Argentina[4],Central America.and theCaribbean.The orchestra participates in numerous festivals and in radio and television broadcasts[5]. It is one of the first guest orchestras inChina, and in 1987, the first chamber orchestra invited to Berlin in the great hall of the concerthaus to celebrate the city's 750th anniversary.The orchestra has given more than 1,500 concerts in some forty countries, supported for a long time by theGeneral Council of Yvelines, by the city of Versailles and by the Directorate General of Cultural Affairs, by patrons and by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
