WELL PROPORTIONED CARVED BLACK FOREST BEAR WITH GLASS EYES EARLY 20th CENTURY

An early 20th-Century carved Black Forest bear with inset glass eyes and teeth.

The bear has wonderful chunky proportions and a great deal of character. It's hulking form is captured in great detail by the carver. The orientation of the glass bead eyes somehow give the bear a friendly expression.

A very tactile sculpture with a rich warm patina.

Presumably carved in Brienz, Switzerland.

Dimensions (approx.): Length: 13 cm / Height: 9 cm / Width: 7 cm.

Condition: Excellent condition. No issues.

Overseas bidders: I am currently only posting items to UK addresses. 

Refunds: The seller accepts returns within 14 days of delivery/receipt. 

The return postage costs are the responsibility of the buyer. it is strongly advised that the service/courier chosen to return the item offers the same level of security/compensation as used by the seller when the item was shipped. The secure packaging of the returned item is also the responsibility of the buyer and must adequately protect the item for transit. If the returned item is lost or damaged the seller will not issue a refund. 

Once the seller has received the returned item and if the item is in in the same condition it was sent, the seller will issue a no quibble full refund of the final item price and delivery cost (not including any return postage costs).

A refund will not be given if the returned item has incurred any damage.
